We guide, support, and represent students and families of color for the duration of their independent school journey.

Independent schools do not accurately represent the rich diversity of Los Angeles, where more than 70% of residents are people of color. Students and families of color face considerable barriers to accessing quality education. Axis was founded to remedy these disparities. We identify students of color who might otherwise be overlooked as candidates for private school admission, and support their families throughout their independent school journey.

Building and maintaining a bridge between schools and families to increase enrollment of students of color.
Representing and advocating for families of color once enrolled in our Partner Schools, helping them address any and all issues that may arise.
